oral Spawning is an amazing event to witness in our oceans. The ability for spawn to find a new home and to grow and create new coral gardens is the essense of the future of our reefs. Scientists all over the world are studying a variety of methods to help the spawn land in a place where they are most likely to survive. With light,  sound, or scent, spawn have an amazing internal system that can determine the best location for survival.

At Spawn Watch you can be a part of the action. They are asking Citizens to witness spawning and record data. The data is mapped so the spawn events and spawning is tracked over time. Join Spawn Watch and help them discover more spawn events and increase the data they are capturing that will inform scientist's work aroumd the globe.
